Complaints Policy
Foundation Repair Bryan TX passes along requests about homes in Bryan, TX, the rest of Brazos County, and College Station, TX, Brenham, TX, Caldwell, TX, Hearne, TX and Madisonville, TX. A problem with our pages comes to us. A problem with a contractor starts with that contractor. This page explains both paths.
Something wrong with our site. Perhaps a page looks wrong, unclear or unfair, or a request seems to have gone missing. Write to us through the contact form, put "Complaint" first, and tell us what happened and about when. We read each one and answer wherever we can.
Something wrong with a contractor. The contractor who receives a request is its own business. Its crew does not work for us, and we do not direct its jobs or set its prices. When an estimate, the work itself, a warranty or someone's behavior causes trouble, put it to the contractor in writing first, adding dates and pictures. Hold on to the contract, each signed change order and all receipts.
Where else to turn. Complaints about a business, contractors included, can go to the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Questions about a permit, or about a city's own contractor registration step, belong with the city office that handles the address; College Station's own rule, for example, asks for a building permit on foundation repairs there and for the contractor to be registered with the City. Texas has no state license for foundation repair, so there is no state license number to look up. Treat this as general information, not legal advice.
Tell us as well. We would like to hear about a complaint even when it belongs with the contractor or another office. A pattern of problems helps us decide whether requests should keep going to that business.
Nothing in this policy takes away any right you have under Texas law, which governs it.
